What is SMART MONEY

SMART Money is a reloadable payment card that may either be accessed through a Smart mobile phone or a MasterCard powered card, similar to a debit/cash card. Smart Money enables Smart subscribers to manage their money from their mobile phones wherever they are, whenever they want.

How to Register with SMART MONEY

Option 1:

1. Text MONEY to 343.

2. Enter desired W-PIN (6-digits).

3. Re-enter W-PIN, press OK.

4. Choose 'Get Account' press OK.

5. Select BDO.

6. Wait for the text message confirming the transaction (Your Smart Money Account Number will be masked for your protection*).

Option 2:

1. Go to the SMART MENU and select SMART MONEY.

2. Choose any transaction.

3. Follow steps 2 to 6 above.

Note: This transaction is free of charge but the subscriber should have at least Php1.00 airtime left.

How to display your SMART MONEY Account Number

1. Go to the Smart Menu and select SMART MONEY.

2. Click on PERSONALIZE.

3. Choose MY LIST.

4. Select SHOW.

5. Deliver via PHONE.

6. Select MY CARDS.

7. Choose your Smart Money Account/Card.

8. Confirm the transaction, press OK.

9. Enter your W-PIN, press OK.

10. Wait for the text message displaying your Smart Money Account/Card Number.

Note: This transaction is free of charge but the subscriber should have at least Php1.00 airtime left.

Where can I Load Money for my SMART MONEY account?

You have four options on where to reload your Smart Money account:

a) Over the Counter (OTC) - Go to any Smart Wireless Center, Banco De Oro (BDO)* branches nationwide, or to any Smart Money Accredited Outlets.

b) Wallet-to-wallet transfer - money transfer from other Smart Money accounts, or remittance from your loved ones abroad.

c) Mobile Banking Service (MBS) - Transfer funds using Smart Mobile Banking Service. From select partner banks, you can transfer funds from your bank account straight to your Smart Money Account by just using your cell phone.

How can I get cash from my SMART MONEY account?
